Full Body / Tailor-Made Remedial Massage
A full body or tailor-made remedial massage is a session built around what you need that day rather than a set routine. It can run anywhere from deep relaxation to targeted remedial work on a specific problem, combining techniques to support healing, circulation and mobility.

Signs this is the treatment you want
- You want the whole body covered rather than one area worked hard
- Muscle tension you would describe as general rather than localised
- You are not certain what needs treating, only that something does
- You want relaxation, but relaxation that actually does something
- Circulation and mobility that have both dropped off
- You are between injuries and want to stay ahead of the next one
What does 'tailor-made' actually mean here?
That the session is adapted to you rather than delivered from a template. The same booking can be a full body treatment, a focused remedial session on one region, or a mix — decided from what you describe and what is found once work starts.
It is the most flexible treatment on the list, which makes it the sensible choice when you know you need bodywork but not which kind.
What does it do beyond feeling good?
The techniques used are chosen to promote healing, improve circulation and enhance mobility, as well as to release muscle tension. Better circulation is doing real work — it is how tissue gets what it needs to repair.
People typically describe the effect afterwards as feeling refreshed, realigned and revitalised rather than simply relaxed, and the realignment is the part that lasts.
How do I know whether to book this or deep tissue?
Book deep tissue when you have a specific, established, stubborn area — it goes deeper and adds myofascial release and stretches. Book this when the picture is broader, or when you would rather the therapist decide once they have seen what is happening.
Either way, say what is going on when you book. Moving you to the right treatment costs nothing; treating the wrong thing costs you a session.
What the session involves
- A full body treatment, or focused remedial work, or a combination
- Expert techniques combined and adapted to your needs on the day
- Work aimed at healing, circulation and mobility as well as tension
- Pressure and pacing adjusted between deep relaxation and targeted treatment

Full Body / Tailor-Made Remedial Massage — your questions
What does a remedial massage help with?
Muscle tension, restricted mobility, poor circulation and specific problem areas, as well as providing deep relaxation. It is designed to restore balance rather than to treat one thing in isolation.
Can I ask for one area to be worked more?
Yes — that is what tailor-made means. You can have the whole body covered, or the session weighted toward whatever is bothering you.
Is this the right choice if I do not know what I need?
It is the best starting point of the massage treatments, precisely because it is adapted once the therapist has assessed you rather than committed to in advance.
