Both the Bentonite Clay and Activated Charcoal are fulvic minerals which are negatively charged. These minerals draw positively charged elements such as heavy metals and chemicals into themselves to be drawn out of the body. These minerals remain in the digestive tract throughout, drawing out toxins and metals from the system to be safely exited the body. They act as a binder and as such can assist in anti bacterial or parasitic gut protocols where the aim is to pull unwanted critters and bad bacteria out of the digestive tract. Within this tablet is also the prebiotic fibre called Apple Pectin to support good gut bacteria.

Slippery Elm is also present to calm and protect the stomach and digestive lining, Liquorice and Fennel Seed are there to support digestion and bile production and Fenugreek to aid detoxification pathways.
